Washington keep pouring money into...

General Motors is fast becoming an American Leyland.
Jack - I agree - GM is poorly managed. What ever happened to good management practices? When I was in graduate school, management was close to being a discipline. Then, CEOs and other officers of major companies put greed ahead of good management. Shame on GM and many other organizations.

Well said, Timothy. That is precisely what happened.
Just like NAZI Germany with Hitler. Hitler took OVER the car cos. This is SCARY times folks, we are in for one BUMPY ride. I am scared of this evil govt.
Jack - Yes indeed - Good management practices are invaluable.
mad jewess is right. look how everything is going. do we want our smiles wipped from our face? if things keep up they will strip us of everything. i get so upset about the car companies. they knew 3 or4 years ago things were getting bad. they need to go to india where they i thought were sending car parts to be made because it was cheaper. people are hungry. but the others are power hungry.
Even if we don’t look as far back as Nazi Germany, the UK is another good example of what can happen to a car industry when governments nationalize it. Remember Austin, Morris, Wolseley, Rover, Triumph, Riley, Alvis, Standard, etc.?
Last time I heard (CNBC) the Federal Government will own about 70% of GM. That means I will own approximately 1 share worth $1.15. Only in America.
Lightfoot - I wish the government would send me my shares of all the companies that they are giving money to.
